The fourth installment of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure gave hundreds of poker players a reason to celebrate as they once again gather for this very prestigious annual event. Once again for the third straight year, this wondrous event will take place at the world class Atlantis Resort and Casino which can be found at the very beautiful Paradise Island in the Bahamas. This poker tournament guaranteed everybody a very competitive atmosphere on which all the best poker players can play.

The 4th to the 11th of January 2007, players can have fun and compete with their peers in one of the most highly anticipated poker tournaments of the year. The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2007 has a tough act to follow after four straight years of successfully delivering one of the best contests in the world of poker. At the same time, participants are treated with the fun and excitement brought about by its very location.

This event was indeed one for the records as PokerStars and the World Poker Tour continued to co-sponsor this wonderful and very exciting event. This poker tournament found another winner in the form of Ryan Daut after he successfully defeated Isaac Haxton in a duel of great proportions at the final round of the tournament. All in all, his total winnings from live tournaments are valued at approximately $1,500,000 in 2007.

It seems that Daut did a wonderful decision of dropping out from his PhD program to become a good and prosperous professional poker player after winning the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2007. This championship gave a very big boost to his career and he is planning on continuing his winning ways in the professional poker circuit. Through constant practice and perseverance, he was at last successful in bringing his name closer to the names of all the great poker pros out there today.

Besides this particular achievement, Daut only made waves in other big poker events such as the World Series of Poker where he had a couple of excellent money finishes. His heads up style of play helped him beat Haxton at the final moments of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2007. This made him $1,535,255 richer. The other poker pros who have made it to the final table of that particular year are Frank Rusnak, Jonathan Little, Robert Ford and Robert Mizrachi.

Just like in the previous three seasons of the World Poker Tour, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2007 was still a success. It marks a start of another successful and prosperous year for the world of poker. Expect more and more players to participate in this glorious event in the future. In 2008, this poker tournament would now be featured in the fourth season of the European Poker Tour.
